Description
In the hush of dawn, a mother deer stands watch over her resting fawn. Bathed in soft light and surrounded by shimmering gold leaves, this painting captures the quiet bond between parent and child—a moment of protection, tenderness, and trust.
Layers of watercolor flow through the forest in luminous shades of rose, lavender, and gold, creating a dreamlike landscape where nature feels both magical and familiar. The gentle gaze of the doe invites viewers to pause and remember the comfort of being cared for and the beauty of belonging.
A celebration of love, family, and the gentle rhythms of the forest.
The Process
- Museum-Quality Base: Each print of my artwork is produced by my specialist printer at Colour Systems Inc. in Toronto (Hi Paul!) using archival pigments on heavyweight fine art paper.
- Hand-Painted Radiance: No two prints are exactly alike. Once printed, I personally return to each beloved piece with liquid gold paint in hand, ensuring a shimmering finish that glows in natural light!
